CD1200 prototype in Retro-Computer-Museum in Leicester
The CD-drive CD1200, which was introduced by Commodore at the CeBIT 1994, should make the Amiga 1200 compatible with the CD³² by using the integrated Akiko-chip. There are two prototypes, a gray one which Ryan Czerwinski ("Merlancia") own and the white one, which was presented at the CeBIT.

During the last months, readers of Amiga.org discussed where the white CD1200 could be located. The producer of the podcast "The Retro Hour", Ravi Abbott, has found it in the Retro-Computer-Museum in Leicester, proved by photos under the title link. (snx) (Translation: dr)
