Looking for testers for Vampire 600 Fast-IDE
The Apollo-Core is a FPGA reimplementation of the m68k-series of Motorola, which also provides a separate graphic mode called SAGA. Currently the core is used in the accelerator boards Vampire 600 V2 and 500 V2(+). For the forthcoming version 'Gold 3' testers are wanted, who can help optimizing the IDE-support by collecting data.

Gunnar von Boehn wrote: "For a deep testrun on as many as possible A600 systems we look for volunteer testers. If you have an A600, a Blaster, and like to take part in the Fast-IDE testing/ championship. Then please contact us on IRC.

We will publish all collected results, so that also other AMIGA Accelerator manufacturer can use them - so that hopefully all AMIGA cards can run 7 MB/sec IDE in the future." (cg) (Translation: dr)
