Commodore documents on Hombre chipset found
Dr. Ed Hepler, who is the former "Director of System and VLSI architecture" at Commodore, has provided detailed documents on the Hombre chipset. The PA-RISC-based Hombre would have been the base for the planned next generation of Amiga computers - if Commodore would not have gone bankcrupt. Until the last moment obviously they tried to sell the technology or to find an investor: a presentation featuring Hombre was created for a "Philips / Commodore Meeting" is dated 15. April 1994 - two weeks later Commodore Geschichte does not exist anymore. (cg) (Translation: dr)
