Mailing list for AteoBus owners
For the owners of an AteoBus expansion there's now a mailing list at Yahoo been set up.

This piece of hardware offered ISA slots for the Amiga 1200 and had been developed in 1997 by the French company Ateo Concepts. As slot cards available for it were among others a graphics card (Pixel 64) and an Ethernet card (AteoNet). (snx) (Translation: wk)

IOSPIRIT: BlackIRC keyfiles online available
In the near past we have received several requests regarding the availability of keyfiles for the software title BlackIRC (development ceased in 2000). To help these interested users we offer an online version of BlackIRC 1.1 for sale. The online version contains a keyfile and the last released version of BlackIRC.

We want to point out that there is no support for BlackIRC available anymore and that development ceased in 2000. This offer is therefore meant only for users who do not need any support and only want to buy a keyfile. (snx) (Translation: wk)

MorphOS board game: Kulce
Roman Grygier prepared a MorphOS game called Kulce. On the board there are some coloured balls which have to be put in horizontal, vertical or diagonal rows.

When there are five of the same colour in one row, the row disappears and the player gathers some points. Balls can be moved around the board - one per round. After making the move, additional three balls appear on the board. The game lasts until the whole board is covered with balls and the player has no field to move.

The game can be downloaded from PPA. The game is in Polish language but there is not many text to read. Review of the game (with screenshots) can be found here. Enjoy! (snx)

Emulator: MAME V0.84 for MorphOS
Fabien Coeurjoly has released version 0.84 (13.5 MB) of the Multi Arcade Machine Emulator for MorphOS.

  • Optimized blit speeds, especially on Pegasos II
  • Supports on-the-fly window/screen switch (alt-enter by default)

  • Command line interface mode changed:
    • Now uses the official mame syntax (mame.elf -showusage) for help
    • Also supports mamerc config files
