APC&TCP

APC&TCP celebrates 11th anniversary
For eleven years APC&TCP is a publisher of Amiga software. Because of this event the distributor of games like SeaSide, GunBee F-99 or Jaktar and applications like Digi Booster Pro has reduced the prices of most of its products in its online shop from 27th March 2003 until 30th April 2003. Felix Schwarz (ANF)

Felix Schwarz: Sale of old AMIGA hardware
In order to create room for new hardware, Felix Schwarz privately sells AMIGA hardware items which are no longer required. Among those there are AMIGA computers as well as digitizers, interface cards and non-AMIGA hardware. Especially interesting for some might be the Amiga 4000 on which the main part of the development of fxPAINT, fxSCAN and VHI Studio had taken place (in the meantime moved to an A4000T).

As this is private hardware there is no guarantee - the sale is NOT through IOSPIRIT but is purely of a private nature.

This has no influence on the further development of the software titles by IOSPIRIT - even after the sale there are still three AMIGAs and compatible computers remaining. Have fun bidding! (ps) (Translation: cb)

Cinemaware statement
As reported in the end of February here told clickBOOM in their S-File 22 that there are differences with Cinemaware. Today Cinemaware published the following statement:

Statement from Cinemaware
Hopefully you know who we are as Cinemaware, as we are well known for our past Amiga games. We are of course doing new titles as well as you can see on our web-site www.cinemaware.com. We have also started a series of "Digitally Remastered" titles with clickBoom for a while - but unfortunately that has gone badly. I was wondering if you could report the information below on your website.

We understand that some of classic Amiga/Cinemaware fans have been concerned about certain news spread around by clickBoom, the Canadian developer which Cinemaware has employed to develop the "Digitally Remastered" series of games. At this point Cinemaware would just like to make a simple statement that clickBoom's allegations are false and misleading, and that we will issue an official statement in the future regarding this matter.

In reference to this, Cinemaware would appreciate if anyone involved in the below cases come into contact with us as soon as possible, writing to cinemaware@cinemaware.com: As you can see history tends to repeat itself.

In the meantime, we appreciate your support and understand your frustration at not being able to see more "Digital Remasters" coming out soon. We are working hard to resolve this situation.

Please look out for exciting news regarding Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown soon!

Sincerely,

Lars Fuhrken-Batista
