Under the title link Steffen Nitz has published an update of his SN-EuroArchiv to version 2.05 and two new programs: the memory game SN-Memory and the management software for investment metals SN-AnlagenArchiv II.

SN-Memory 0.75

A new memory game with four card sets with the well known game rules. You can create own card sets in a very simple way. All graphics are supported which can be loaded with the datatype system as well as screens with up to 32 Bit. AHI controls the sound output.

SN-AnlagenArchiv II 0.51

This is a management software for coins and bullions which are available over bank but also over eBay and other suppliers. The program works with gold, silver, platinum and paladium.

All daily rates of the four metals are managed in US-Dollar and Euro since 1978. The SN-AnlagenArchiv II is completely compatible to SN-AnlagenArchiv I.

Additionally the new website http://gold.sn-archiv.de introduces the current gold charts as well as some of the usual gold coins.

Windows development suite with Amiga/68k crosscompiler
AmiDevCpp is based on the free development suite Dev-C++, but the generic compiler has been replaced with an AmigaOS crosscompiler. Thus, it becomes possible to develop and compile programs for the Amiga (m68k) while using the Windows environemt.

The integrated development suite offers a decent and mighty work tool (screen shot). With the packet system even beginners are able to install new includes and libraries.

Most packets also include examples which work instantly, even programmer newbies can make their first Amiga program without typing a single line of source code.

The development suite comes with a windows typical installer, which is multi lingual and includes a deinstaller, too.

Bug reports, critics and suggesions are most welcome if placed at the programmer board by amiga-news.de. (snx) (Translation: ub)

ezTCP 0.5 alpha

The PPC native TCP/IP stack ezTCP by Pavel 'Sonic' Fedin is now available in the alpha version 0.5. This is a morphzone.org bounty project, current contribution is 1095,73 US dollar.

Among the improvements in version 0.5 is the fix to set the socket owner correctly, required e.g. for Jabberwocky. Also the program checks for an already present instance of the bsdsocket.library within the memory at launch.

MorphOS: AIFF/AIFF-C, RIFF WAVE and Sun/NeXT audio player for AmiNetRadio
Three new player plugins for AmiNetRadio 3.x have been released by Christian 'tokai' Rosentreter.

wave.player 3.10

The player reads RIFF WAVE (Resource Interchange File Format Audio Waveform) files and supports mono and stereo samples which are stored in 8bit - 32bit linear PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) or with A-law, µ-law, Float 32bit or Float 64bit compression.

aiff.player 3.3

This player adds support for Apple's Audio Interchange File Format. It reads mono and stereo AIFF/AIFF-C files, and as wave.player it supports samples stored with 8bit - 32bit PCM or compressed samples with A-law, µ-law, Float 32bit or Float 64bit data.

au.player 3.2

The last one of the trio is for Sun/NeXT Audio files. It supports interleaved mono and stereo data which is stored in Big- or Little-Endian byte order. Like both other players it understands 8bit, 16bit, 24bit and 32bit linear PCM and A-law, µ-law, Float 32bit and Float 64bit compressed samples.

All three players come with documenation and are freeware. You can get them at the title link. (snx)
