`07.May.2003` Golem IT-News (Website)	Golem: Driver sources by 3dfx found at the net There has been a complete driver source code for the Voodoo gfx cards by 3dfx found at the Internet. More details regarding that driver are to find at www.NuAngel.net (curently offline) and at the x-3dfx forum. The 3dfx driver source code is included in an about 40 MByte sized RAR archive (to unpack it use e.g. WinRAR) called "3dfx_source_code.rar". The device works with an ARM 9 processor from Motorola and an ATI gfx chip. It will be intended more for the older gamers and could become a rival to the GameBoy and the Nokia nGage. »Tapwaves Helix should reach the quality of game consoles Yesterday the 5th of May 2003 Tapwave announced in the U.S the foundation of the company officially which is existing since May 2001. Tapwave want to bring a game handheld, codenamed Helix, based on PalmOS which shall reach a game consoles quality to the market by the end of this year. It can convert more files, has an 'advanched' configurable save routine and can be started from Workbench. It's written in 68K machine code. Another program, CLI2WB, is updated to version 1.1 It launches easily Shell (CLI) commandline from Workbench. Configurable in its icons tooltypes.
