Elbox: TurboFlyer 530
Under the title link, Elbox anounces a new 68030-accelerator board with 40 MHz and integrated FastATA-CF/SATA-controller for the Amiga 500/500+ and 2000 which probably will be available in February. It is an internal solution for 240 Euro (plus VAT) which is set on the processor socket.

Features:
  • 68030 processor (with MMU) clocked at 40 MHz
  • 16 MB of fast 32-bit DRAM memory on board
  • Integrated FastATA CF/SATA controller:
    • Fast transfer rate of up to 16.6 MB/s
    • Supports PIO-0, PIO-4 and PIO-5 modes
    • Two buffered and terminated EIDE ports for four devices
    • AllegroCDFS filesystem included
    • LBA 48 support in the onboard BootROM (support of drives over 128 GB)
    • Automatically configured EIDE/CF/SATA/ATAPI devices
    • Can boot from FAT16 and FAT32 formatted devices
  • Includes custom expansion port for local hardware add-ons
  • MapROM function (uses 1 MB from 16 MB of the on-board DRAM)
  • Compatible with trapdoor Slow memory expansions (up to 1.8 MB)
  • Compatible with Chip memory expansions
  • Compatible with WHDLoad software

MorphOS/AROS: Fade2Black 0.1.8
The engine of the action adventure Fade to Black, released in 1995 and developed by Delphine Software International, was rewritten and was now ported to MorphOS by Paweł 'Stefkos' Stefański.

Under the title link there is an update to the latest version 0.1.8 for the AROS version provided by 'serk118uk'.

Amigakit announces new Amiga joystick
Amigakit announces a new Amiga joystick which was developed during the last six months. It has a "arcade style controller with metal shaft and micro switches":



The joystick has two independent buttons which both can be set as standard buttons. The price still is not available, "orders will be taken in the next few weeks." (cg) (Translation: dr)

Accelerator board: ACA500 by Individual Computers can be preordered
The ACA500 developed by Individual Computers is supposed to be available before Christmas and now can be preordered. The Amiga 500-extension has a preinstalled Kickstart-"ROMs" (version 1.3 and 3.1) and it is possible to use an Amiga 1200 accelerator board developed by the same producer with an Amiga 500.

Features of the ACA500:
  • 68EC000-10 clocked at 14 MHz (i.e. double A500 clock)
  • 2 MB of physical RAM, entirely available for applications (minus 512 KB if MapROM is used)
  • external expansion, no need to open the A500
  • two Compact Flash card slots (each one of them bootable and able to read/write Amiga or PC formatted cards)
  • trapdoor memory expansions up to 1.8 MB FastMem still work (including RTC)
  • ChipMem expansions still work
  • custom expansion port for local hardware (14 MHz 16-bit, double Zorro speed)
  • clock port for hardware expansions, e.g. for Silversurfer or Catweasel Mk2
  • optionally expandable by adding an ACA-1220 / ACA-1231 / ACA-1232 card
  • licensed Kickstart ROM images 1.3 and 3.1 included in Flash-ROM
  • FAT95 file system also included in Flash-ROM
  • full WHDload compatibility incl. Quit key!
