`06.Aug.2023` Amigans (Forum)	Video: Emulator E-UAE for AmigaOS4 UAE (abbreviation for Unix Amiga Emulator or Ubiquitous Amiga Emulator) is a software emulator that can be used to run Amiga programs on various operating systems. For Windows, a special variant called WinUAE was developed on the basis of UAE. Based on WinUAE, E-UAE was developed to make its special functions usable on other operating systems. The version ported and available on AmigaOS 4 dates from 2015 (amiga-news.de reported). Roman 'kas1e' Kargin has created an extensive video about E-UAE under AmigaOS 4, in which he describes the basics and the development. He also explains how the changes made to the source code since 2015 affect it by compiling a current version and showing this using the example of the emulation of AmigaOS 3.2.2.1.
