Amiga motherboard in ITX form factor: Amy ITX
Already for some years "Amy", which is an Amiga motherboard in standard ITX form factor (170x170 mm), is developed. The board has to be equipped with the Amiga-Custom-Chips, offers two Zorro slots (DMA is supported on one of the slots) and is compatible with accelerator boards like the Vampire 500, which are directly plugged in the processor socket.
According to the developers the project has been almost finished and works without any problems. So far 25 boards have been produced which were delivered to testers and enthusiats. If the project should be successfully finished a second production run is possible - if there is sufficient interest.

WHDLoad: New installers until 20.01.2018
Using WHDLoad, you can install games, scene demos and intros from cracking groups to your harddisk that were only working from floppy disks previously. The following installers have been added until January 20th, 2018:
- 2018-01-18 improved: Apache / Overdrive (Team 17) Apache Bonus level disabled as it doesn't work, Bplcon0 color bit fixes, interrupts fixed, blitter waits added, 68000 quitkey support, source code included, new install script (Info)

Debugger: Source code of Adebug under GPL released
Adebug is a debugger for Atari-ST und Amiga computers which previously was distributed commercially. Daniel Vérité who in the early 90s maintained the Amiga version now has released his source code under GPL. The archive contains the last commercial distribution as well as binaries assembled from the latest sources. 68000 and 68020/68030 processors are supported.

Emulator: WinUAE 3.6.0
Version 3.6.0 of the Amiga emulator WinUAE has been published. Compared to the features announced in the preview, the following changes have been added:
Core emulation updates:
- 68020/030 BCD instructions undocumented V flag behavior fixed (68000 was already correct)
New emulated hardware expansions:
Other new features and updates:
- Optional non-rawinput mouse and keyboard mode is back (-norawinput_all)
- Added Misc panel option to show WinUAE in Windows shutdown/logoff screen (Vista or newer) if emulation session is active
- JIT Direct is allowed in CyberStorm PPC configuration but it also disables CSPPC MAP ROM hardware feature
- Ability to image CHS-only IDE drives using USB adapters that don’t support CHS-only drives. (Common side effect is drive being detected but it appears as zero size drive in Windows Disk Management)
Bugs fixed
- 68040/060 without FPU: many FPU instruction F-line exceptions generated incorrect stack frames
- Tape drive emulation fixes. Fixes Amix install error if last file on tape was selected for install

The PDF magazine REV'n'GE ("Retro Emulator Vision and Game") is available in Italian as well as in an English-language translation. REV'n'GE compares and reviews games on vintage computers.

Obligement: Update of Amiga Games List
Since 1991 David Brunet has updated "Amiga Games List". Now all releases of the year 2016 have been added, so the database includes 12803 games, level editors, data disks, extensions and interpreters, which divide like that:
- 12241 games
- 325 extensions and data disk
- 145 editors
- 92 interpreters
According to Brunet the Amiga Games List is the most extensive games list on Internet.

Text editor featuring Kickstart-1.2 compatibility: Redit 1.16
Kai Scherrer's text editor Redit works without any limitations on an Amiga equipped with Kickstart 1.2, but also is fully compatible with higher versions of the system. The editor can be also launched from an emergancy disk or used after booting without startup-sequence. In version 1.16 some minor bugs have been fixed:
- bugfix: a multiple line undo was not drawn properly. fixed
- bugfix: the displayed amount of occurrences of a find & replace
operation was always 0. fixed
- improved: Redit is now using INTUITICKS only when required, which
decreases the CPU usage with an idle, active window
- bugfix: in CLI mode an error code was never returned. fixed

According to Andreas Magerl, with the latest issue 130 his print magazine "Amiga Future" has become 20 years - for some years it is also the "longest published Amiga Print magazine worldwide". Celebrating this anniversary there are some special offers on the website of the magazine.

Development: Hollywood APK Compiler 2.1
Press release: Airsoft Softwair, the hardest working men in code business, are proud to present the Hollywood APK Compiler 2.1. This version adds support for Android Studio 3.0 and makes the conversion of Hollywood applets into APKs even easier by erasing the direct dependencies on the Java Development Kit (JDK) and Gradle. Instead, the JDK and Gradle versions that are shipped with Android Studio are used now. So Android Studio is the only thing that is required by the Hollywood APK Compiler now.
Note that version 2.1 requires at least Android Studio 3.0 so existing users should only upgrade to this version if they also want to upgrade their Android Studio version. Keep in mind, though, that Google dropped support for older Android versions in Android Studio 3.0 so all APKs compiled by the Hollywood APK Compiler will require at least Android 4.0. If you still need to target Android 2.3, don't upgrade to the latest version of Android Studio and the APK Compiler. Finally, also note that version 2.1 is no longer compatible with 32-bit systems. It requires a 64-bit Windows so 32-bit users should also keep their old versions.
Version 2.1 of the Hollywood APK Compiler is now available for free download from the restricted download area for all existing Hollywood APK Compiler users.
