AmigaOS 4: Word Me Up XXL 1.51
Das kommerzielle Spiel "Word Me Up XXL" von Boing Attitude kombiniert Arcade- und Knobel-Elemente und liegt für AmigaOS 4 nun in der Version 1.51 vor. Die Demoversion wurde ebenfalls aktualisiert.
Mit dem Update konnte das Spiel um 30% beschleunigt werden, zudem existiert jetzt auch eine Touchscreen-Unterstützung. Neu ist zudem eine Windows-Fassung. Die MorphOS-Version soll in wenigen Wochen folgen, danach sind Portierungen für Linux/x86 und Mac OS X/x86 geplant.
New features:
- The game is 30% faster
- The game is playable with fingers if you have a touch screen
- New launch menu that makes it easy to reach different parts of Word Me Up XXL (e.g. readme, game, website). All of these parts are translated into the 11 languages of the game
- Game is more friendly: help on each screen, for every level, tutorial...
- New transition effects between screens
- New users management: more intuitive, allows upto 12 users to play and save their games (instead of 6 previously)
- Two new characters available: Lisa and Miss Shen
- Four new levels (training), so 64 levels available in full version
- Graphical art enhancements
- In-game animations (e.g. when you loose a life or money)
- You can choose sound effects without music
- Fading when music changes
- 27 avatars included
