`24.Sep.2012` Jürgen Beck (ANF)	Podcast: Musik aus den Amiga-Spielen von Psygnosis Jürgen Beck schreibt: Nachdem Sony kürzlich die legendäre Spieleschmiede Psygnosis dicht gemacht hat, lässt man beim Demoszene-Portal BitFellas.org noch einmal Erinnerungen an die alten Spieleklassiker aufleben - in musikalischer Form. Der BitJam Podcast #157: Tribute to Psygnosis, Part I: The Amiga Years enthält einige der bekanntesten Soundtracks aus den Amiga-Spielen von Psygnosis. Gespielt werden Titel aus der Shadow of the Beast Trilogy, Blood Money, The Killing Game Show, Microcosm oder natürlich Lemmings. `24.Sep.2012` Grzegorz Kraszewski (ANF)	MorphOS: Audio-Konverter Zormanita 1.1 Zormanita ist ein weiteres Programmierbeispiel für die Nutzung der Reggae-Bibliothek zum Abspeichern von Inhalten. Der Quellcode des Programms steht unter einer BSD-Lizenz zur Verfügung. Zormanita kann derzeit AIFF-, 8SVX-, 16SV-, WAVE- und MP3-Dateien in die Formate AIFF, WAVE oder RAW konvertieren, Altivec wird unterstützt. Version 1.1 beinhaltet auch ein Update für Reggae, das jetzt beim Speichern auch die 24- und 32-Bit Modi von AIFF, WAVE, und RAW unterstützt. `23.Sep.2012` Andreas Falkenhahn (ANF)	Hollywood-Plugins jetzt auch für Android verfügbar Die Entwicklungsumgebung Hollywood unterstützt seit Juli auch Googles Handheld-Betriebssystem Android. Inzwischen stehen auch die meisten Hollywood-Plugins für das Abspielen zusätzlicher Media-Formate unter Android zur Verfügung. Die Plugins werden in jeweils zwei Varianten angeboten: Der sogenannte "armeabi"-Build erledigt Operationen mit Gleitkommazahlen in einer Software-Bibliothek ähnlich den von AmigaOS bekannten math*-Bibliotheken. Die "armeabi-v7a"-Versionen nutzen dagegen die erheblich schnellere Gleitkomma-Hardware moderner Prozessoren, die in sämtlichen neueren Android-Geräten verbaut werden - im Zweifelsfall gibt das Handbuch des jeweiligen Geräts Auskunft, ob Gleitkomma-Rechnungen per Hardware unterstützt werden. Die Plugins müssen in das Verzeichnis "Hollywood/_Plugins" auf der SD-Karte des Android-Geräts installiert werden. Weitere Informationen sind den Android Release Notes zu entnehmen. `23.Sep.2012` Finnish Amiga Users Group (ANF)	Veranstaltung: Saku 2012 in Oulu (Finnland) Nächsten Samstag, am 29. September 2012, hält in Oulu die Finnische Amiga-Anwendergruppe ab 13 Uhr nach deren offizieller Zählweise zum 5. Mal ihr Saku-Treffen ab. Vertreten sind alle Amiga-Systeme vom Commodore-Rechner und Minimig über AmigaOS 4 und MorphOS bis AROS. Nachfolgend lesen Sie die offizielle Pressemitteilung. OULU, FINLAND - September 22nd, 2012 - Finnish Amiga Users Group holds its 5th Saku event in Oulu, Finland on Saturday, September 29th. The event is free for anyone interested in the wide range of current Amiga compatible systems. Admittance is free of charge and refreshments will be available. Saku 2012 will start at 13:00 on September 29th at Oulun Tetra ground floor conference room at Mäkelininkatu 31. There will be several classic and new generation Amiga compatible systems available for testing. Classic AmigaOS is running on several A1200 models and on an A4000/060 with three (you read it right, 3!) Picasso IV graphic cards. A SAM440ep system will be running the new AmigaOS 4, and the latest MorphOS 3 will be demonstrated both on a G4 Mac mini and a G4 Powerbook. AROS is running on a PC, and Minimig will also be available for testing. Gaming is available on several classic Amiga systems. Linked games are played via two A1200/030 computers. The legendary A500 is also involved. A1200 expansions like the BlizzardPPC, BVision and Indivision AGA MK2 are among the hardware displayed, not forgetting the up to 16GB CF drives. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Commodore 64 we have a fully packed C64 with an LCD display and a keyboard, double SID chips, the MSSIAH MIDI expansion and a Turbo Chameleon multipurpose expansion cartridge. There will also be gaming competitions arranged on the C64. Visitors can take part in several game competitions and a Hello World programming competition. Latest Amiga magazines are available for reading and visitors can also bring their used items for sale. `22.Sep.2012` Jim Neray (ANF)	Workbench-Ersatz: X-bEnCH 0.7 (Betaversion) Bei X-bEnCH handelt es sich um eine grafische Oberfläche mit 128 Farben, welche zum Starten von WHDLoad-Spielen (.slave, .exe) die Workbench ersetzt und wenig Ressourcen erfordert. Das Programm läuft nach Angaben des Entwicklers auf allen Amigas von OCS bis AGA sowie vom 68000- bis zum 68060-Prozessor und benötigt im Betrieb sehr wenig Arbeitsspeicher.
