Audio: Prelude Software Bundle 4.0
Thomas Wenzel writes: "This is a fork of the last release by me before Oliver Gantert took over to improve and refactor it and to include support for his new Prelude ZII+ soundcard.
I have tried to fix all the bugs which Oliver also fixed in his branch. Along the way I took the opportunity to implement a watchdog which can resume a broken and stalled data transfer on its own. This can happen during some ZZ9000 graphics operations for example. The watchdog can't prevent the sound from being interrupted for a short time but after that it will resume automatically instead of just hang.
I have set the version number back to 4 to reflect the AHI v4 support and to clearly separate it from Oliver's branch.
So if you experience unexpected hangups during playback, or if you are just adventurous, this is the version to try. :)
If you are using an Amiblaster Deluxe soundcard, this version is also the one to choose."

Cross-Development: RADRunner
RADRunner supports the development of Amiga programs under other operating systems by waiting for the compiled programs on the Amiga side via network connection, without the requirement of a mounted file system, and then executing them.
A C++ 14 compiler is required. Besides the intended use, the reverse working direction, i.e. development on the Amiga and execution on another computer, would in itself also be possible.

Linux: Using Amiga software and imitating an Amiga desktop
Some time ago the hobby YouTube channel "Proteque - Classic Beige Nostalgia" showed in a video Experiencing that Amiga nostalgia on a modern Linux system, how on a computer with Debian installation an Amiga emulation is integrated into the desktop to use Amiga programs. In addition, the interface was adapted to the appearance of the Workbench. Many users then wanted to know how all this was done.
This is now explained in two further videos: part 1 shows how to integrate the Amiga software using FS-UAE and shared folders. Part 2, on the other hand, explains how to imitate the Amiga desktop.

Thus, for the first time, the developer also offers an alpha version of an ISO image of AROS, which can be tested in a virtual environment or on real hardware. Changes in detail:

Amiga emulator for MacOS: vAmiga V2.4
Dirk Hoffmann has released version 2.4 of his Amiga emulator vAmiga for MacOS. Changes:
Enhancements:
- Improved audio filter emulation
- Added support for ADFs containing less than 80 cylinders
- Added some more ROM fingerprints
Bug fixes:
- Fixed a crash that occurred when loading certain extended ADFs
The minimum system requirement for his emulator has been raised to macOS 11.0. Since the developer has left the "Apple Developer Program" ("too expensive"), the app is no longer certified. This means that from now on a warning will be displayed when the app is started.

Right after the release of the Linux kernel 6.3, Christian 'xeno74' Zigotzky has compiled it for AmigaOne X1000 and X5000 and offered the kernel for download in the associated discussion topic of the Hyperion forum. The kernel has grown in recent months so the address 1c00000 is used by the uImage.

Video: Reproduction of "Four-Byte Burger" artwork
On his YouTube channel "Ahoy", Stuart Brown produces documentary-style video content about video games and their influence on culture. His latest video is dedicated to the "Four-Byte Burger", an example from the early days of digital art. The image shows a colourful cheeseburger designed by Commodore's art director Jack Haeger. The original file was not saved and the image is only preserved as a copy because Haeger took photos of the monitor with a 35mm camera. In his video, Brown explores the question of whether a perfect reproduction of the image is possible.
