According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) the transfer of the Amiga trade marks from Amiga Inc. (Washington, AIW) to Amiga Inc. (Deleware) was refused.

The exact reasons are not known but the lawyer of Hyperions mentioned a reason in his memorandum (PDF, 87 KB). (snx) (Translation: dr)
