Metacompiler: PortablE r2
Christopher Handley's metacompiler PortablE translates the programming language E to other ones. Through this long E-programs are supposed to be converted into forms which can be used by more platforms than before.

Version r2 of the program has been written in E and compiles itself. It works under AmigaOS, AmigaOS 4, AROS and MorphOS.

Changes:
  • Programs can now be compiled on an OS4 machine, thanks to support for GCC v4 & NewLib
  • Programs can now be run from Workbench, and "wbmessage" is supported
  • Shell return codes are now support, by returning a value from main()
  • Added a Run Time Type Information (RTTI) system for classes
  • Fixed several bugs, including an OS4-specific one
