AmigaOS 4: Midi-Sequencer BarsnPipes 0.7.1
Lyle Hazelwood who has taken over the development of the AmigaOS 4-version of the MIDI-sequencer BarsnPipes of Alfred Faust has released a first minor update of the programm. Changes in version 0.7.1:
  • You no longer need LhA in the C directory
  • The multiple CAMD in and out tools have been replaced with a single CAMD_In and CAMD_Out pipetools. These no longer read ENVARC: for camd cluster names. Each tool may have any CAMD cluster, no limits.

This version is not backward compatible to previous releases of BarsnPipes. On the AmiWest the author had announced to adapt all extensions little by little.

It is not certain if this version can import saved BarsnPipes-projects. The author recommends to hide the Tools-directory so no tools are loaded. MIDI-files can be imported with the tool "sMerFF".

In future the CAMD-support is supposed to be improved as well as a modern graphical user-interface to be created. (cg) (Translation: dr)
