Javascript: TAWS - The Amiga Workbench Simulation 0.33
TAWS ("The Amiga Workbench Simulation") is a Javascript simulation of the Amiga-Workbench 1.0 - 4.1FE for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Apple-WebKit-Browser (including Odyssey).
Any kind of feedback the author Michael Rupp would very appreciate. His work can be supported by a donation from inside TAWS.
Version 0.33 provides the following changes:
- MagicMenu enhanced with:
- Background pattern
- Transparency effects
- Transparency level
- Transparency blur level (for Browser supporting the CSS attribute «backdrop-filter», in Firefox the variable «layout.css.backdrop-filter.enabled» needs to be set to «true» in «about:config»)
Adjusted all AmiKit presets accordingly
- Nessy-Easter-Egg in «TAWS Early Preset Selection» and «Amiga Early Startup Control» for OS 3.9 (see www.gregdonner.org/workbench/wb_39.html to learn mire about this OS 3.9 Easter Egg)
- new icons for the TAWS drawer
- Menu: Dithering of the old style separator bar and inactive items is now pixel exact.
- Optimised «TAWS Early Preset Selection» and Kickstart screen for mobile devices
- Small improvements for viewing on mobile devices
- Added missing translations using DeepL
- Bugfixes:
- MS Edge: Fixed the Prefs windows layouts
- Internet Explorer / Odyssey & PayPal: works again (Bug since 0.32.1)
- Having icon borders activated, clicking on an icon label or directly next to an icon image did not work for icons having a label larger than its image.
- MagicMenu: fixed the preview for the combination of «Separator bar style: Gap» and «XEN»
- MagicMenu: adjusted some German texts
- MS Edge & TAWS Early Preset Selection: prevent MS Edge from blurring the Topaz font
- MS Edge & TAWS Early Preset Selection: fixed layout
