ReAction GUI for XAD: Avalanche 2.1 for AmigaOS 3 and 4
Chris Young's Avalanche is a ReAction-based graphical user interface for the unarchiving system XAD, which also supports the xfdmaster.library and can search for viruses using the xvs.library. With the jump to version 2.1, the developer not only gives the tool a new look, but also introduces simple editing of LhA/Zip archives (Zip requires zip.library - only under AmigaOS 4). The developer has written his tool explicitly for AmigaOS 3.2.1, but has also tested it under AmigaOS 4. Changes:
- New browser mode, removed old hierarchical browser.
- Select/Clear/Invert selection now act on the current directory and all subdirectories when in the new browser mode.
- Basic editing of (LhA, Zip) archives (Zip needs zip.library - OS4 only)
- Create new (LhA, Zip) archives
