Amiga Games That Weren't: Path of the Little Dragon
Games That Weren't features Path of the Little Dragon, a previously unknown beat 'em up project from Imagitec dating back to 1988/89. The game was supposed to be released on the Amiga 500 and used dual playfields, parallax scrolling, and hardware sprites to tell a story of combat in ancient China.
Developer Che Guevara John, who was responsible for code and design, planned a mixture of Far Eastern mythology and arcade action before the project was shelved. Thanks to rediscovered floppy disks, a playable prototype has now been restored, providing insights into the ambitious but unfinished game. (nba)
