FrameThrower: RGM-to-HDMI-adapter for Amiga 500 and 2000 with PiStorm
The FrameThrower is a new expansion for the PiStorm that allows the RGB signals of an Amiga 500 and 2000 to be output directly as HDMI (amiga-news.de reported). The adapter is plugged into the Denise socket of the computer and connected to the Raspberry Pi on the PiStorm via a ribbon cable.

This eliminates the need for a separate RGB-to-HDMI adapter, which simplifies video output and eliminates the need for an additional connection. Sound output via HDMI is not yet available, but according to developer Claude Schwarz, it will soon follow via a software update. The launch is planned for mid-November 2025 and will be listed at various retailers (RetroBuddys, RetroPassion, Archi-Tech). (nba)
