Amiga-Emulator: FS-UAE 2.4.3 for Linux
Frode Solheim's FS-UAE for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and BSD is based on WinUAE "includes an easy-to-use graphical configuration program which allows you to enjoy FS-UAE and Amiga emulation without writing configuration files." The stable version 2.4.3 fixes a bug which occured with the Nvidia-driver under Linux. All other platforms as well as the latest developer versions are not affected.

Obligement: Vote for the best game of 2014
David Brunet writes: Each year you can vote for the best Amiga game of the previous twelve months. Now it's time for the Amiga Games Award 2014! To vote for the best AmigaOS 68k, AmigaOS 4, MorphOS, or AROS games, you can rate them at the title link.
There will be no "global" winner, but a winner by systems (AmigaOS/68k, AmigaOS 4, MorphOS and AROS). The final results will be published Saturday, February 7, 2015.

Workbench-Distribution: AmiKit 8.2
Version 8.2 of the Workbench distribution for emulators, called AmiKit, has been released. Additional to updated versions of included applications, mainly MUI 4 has been updated. Besides, the text viewer EvenMore, written by Chris Perver, is included as a special MUI-version.

AROS / MorphOS: Bounty-Project for Qt 4.8 replaced by Qt 5.4 (Update)
The description of the bounty for adapting the C++ class library Qt (amiga-news.de reported) to AROS, which Szilárd 'BSzili' Biró would accept, has been changed to the current version 5.4 due to a lack of interest of potential donors.
Nevertheless, Szilárd Biró is going to adapt Qt 4 because he himself requires this version. The donors of the original bounty project have been informed and can give their money for a different project or can get it back.

On Szilárd Biró's request, MorphOS has been added to the bounty.
