AmigaOS 4/MorphOS: E-UAE 0.8.29-PPC-JIT-Beta 3
Álmos Rajnai's integration of an just-in-time-compiler into the Amiga emulator E-UAE for PowerPC-systems was updated. The third beta provides a "register and flag optimization fix. You can turn it on in the configuration, just set comp_optimize to true."

AmigaOS 4: Announcement of Extended Memory Objects
Under the title link, Hans-Jörg Frieden introduced Extended Memory Objects in a blog of Hyperion Entertainment. It is a kind of bank switching, which was basically used in 8-Bit home computers. In future under AmigaOS 4 it will physically use the memory sections of the computer which a 32-Bit operating system usually cannot access.
