AROS: Nano VM 3.2.1
Stefan Pietzonke has released version 3.2.1-2 of his virtual maschine Nano (amiga-news.de reported). Unter AROS/i386, the JIT-compiler of Nano is switched off because the author thinks of it as a cause of trouble.
"The new rights management makes it possible to run programs in sandbox mode." (have a look under the title link)

MorphOS: InstantZip 2.0.0 - Zip Archiver with MUI GUI
Carsten Siegner's InstantZip is a Zip archiving programm which can add any file to existing archives, create new archives or which can remove or unzip files from the main directory of an archive. Version 2.0.0 features a GUI similar to WinZip.

Event: Vintage Computer Festival Europe (3./4. May, Munich)
On 3 and 4 May 2014 in Munich the Vintage Computer Festival Europe (VCFe) will take place for the 15th time. Its "mission is to encourage the preservation of obsolete computer hard- and software of years past, to promote interest in researching and documenting the history of the computer age and to have fun playing with old iron." This year the focus of the VCFe is on "exotoic computers".
