WHDLoad: New packages until 07.09.2013
Using WHDLoad, you can install games, scene demos and intros from cracking groups on your harddisk that were not compatible with anything but floppy disks. The following installers have been added until September 7th, 2013:

Amiga-News celebrates 15th anniversary
In late summer of 1998 Petra Struck began to publish news about the Amiga on here private website. The oldest news message is from August 13th - the regular news then started to be published in September.

AmigaOS 4: Programming competition for best Qt-ports finished
At the beginning of July, Alfkil Wennermark called for a competition: The programmer who developed or ported the most Qt-applications until 30th August will get an award of him.
Today Wennermark has published the winners:
- zzd10h - Award: a completely equipped Minmig
- spotUP - Competition Pro USB and a "special award"
- Chris Young - Competition Pro USB
- cha05e90 - AmigaOne coffee mug

Elbox: Announcement of a PCI-board for the Amiga 3000D
According to a post at the a1k.org forum under the title, Elbox has started developing a desktop version of a PCI-extension for the Amiga 3000. Compared with the version for the Amiga 4000, the Mediator-A3000Di-busboard has three PCI-slots instead of four.
