Linux: Kernel 6.12.4 for X1000/X5000
Parallel to the release of the Linux kernel 6.12.4, Christian 'xeno74' Zigotzky has compiled a version for the AmigaOne X1000 and X5000. The new kernel fixes bugs around DRM.

AROS distribution: AROS One 2.7 (x86)
The "AROS One" distribution, based on the AROS binary interface ABI v0, is now available in version 2.7 for x86 computers. A DVD ISO file and a USB flash ("VHD") image are available for download. The VHD image can be used as a hard disk in virtual machines such as VMware, VirtualBox and QEmu. An archive to update existing installations of AROS One 2.6 to the latest edition is also provided.

Mark Sibly (Blitz Basic) passes away
Acid Software (u.a. Skidmarks, Guardian) announced on Facebook that Mark Sibly, the father of the Blitz Basic programming language, passed away earlier this month. Apparently, the New Zealander had been struggling with a number of health problems in recent years.
