Trevor Dickinson explaining the failure of the AmigaOS 4 Netbook
In October 2011, Steven Solie from the OS4 team announced a netbook for AmigaOS 4 for a price "between 230 and 300 Euro". That same day Ben Hermans and Hans-Jörg Frieden from Hyperion delivered some additional information, but there were no official statements since then.

WookieChat source code released
James 'jahc' Carroll's MUI-based IRC-client for all Amiga systems, called WookieChat, is now available under the AROS Public License 1.1. Additionally interested users for the management of the MorphOS/AmigaOS-builds and/or for a further development are wanted which can contact Krzysztof 'Deadwood' Śmiechowicz under the title link.

Press release: Since today CygnusED 5 is available in the online shop of APC&TCP at a discounted price. Of course CygnusED will continue as usual to be available on CD as well. CygnusED is the most famous text editor for the Amiga.

AmigaOS 4: Assist 1.1
Assist is a collection of over 300 tutorials and articles for users of AmigaOS 4.1 on the operating system itself but also on important programms, websites and downloads.
In version 1.1 the AppStore-function of Jack is described. Besides, an ARexx-port as well as further articles habe been added. Existing installations will be updated over the AmiUpdate.
