Organiser Moya 'Amiga Cammy' McGeough has launched a fundraising appeal to purchase prizes for the winners and cover the shipping costs for physical prizes. This year, the winner of the first prize from AmiGameJam will have the opportunity to present their game on a full-size arcade machine (specifically, the GRS Build-A-Cade FU) with custom artwork, which will be installed in some of America's largest arcades. The winner will receive a working replica of the arcade machine on a 1:6 scale, on which their game will run. Further prizes are planned. The target donation amount is around 1,900 euros.
