AmigaOS 4: Fourth beta of Firefox-port Timberwolf
Hans-Jörg and Thomas Frieden have published a new beta version of their Firefox port "Timberwolf". Besides bug fixes, the new version implements some major new feature:
- - Drag & Drop support (customizing, bookmark sorting)
- - Clipboard support (text only at the moment)
- - Sound support (can now play video and audio streams)
- - Some internal changes. NSPR threads completely rewritten to cope with NSPR's pecularities of condition variables.
Thomas Frieden wrote at amigaworld: "As I said, this version is supposed to be "feature complete" to the extend what is possible on current AmigaOS. What remains to be done is bugfixing and occasional optimization, but the feature completeness was my current goal."

MorphOS: Energy.sbar displays status of battery on laptops
The screenbar-plugin Enrergy.sbar shows the status of the battery as graphic which includes remaining battery level, state of charge, battery capacity as well as the current charging rate. The plugin has to be copied to SYS:Classes/Screenbar/.

Emulator: FPSE 0.10.4
Version 0.10.4 of the "Free Play Station Emulator" (FPSE) was published for AmigaOS, AmigaOS 4, MorphOS and AROS/x86. Additional to minor bug fixes and improvements, the Warp3D-plugin for AROS was ported and reworked.

ACube Systems: RadeonHD-driver for Sam460-boards (update)
After A-EON Technology has secured the exclusive rights to the RadeonHD graphic boards drivers for AmigaOS 4, now under the title link ACube Systems has informed that the company will pay the license fee if a Sam460-boards or the complete system AmigaOne 500 will be purchased.
Customers who have already bought an AmigaOne 500 will be contacted in the next days. They will get the driver for free as well.

In a new comment ACube explained that existing owners of a Sam460 "can order the new driver from A-eon." Obviously only existing owners of an AmigaOne 500 will get a license for free.

AmigaOS 4: A-EON Technology secures RadeonHD driver support
According to A-EON Technology under the title link, it has signed a new development agreement with premier AmigaOS graphics specialist Hans de Ruiter which ensures the future compatibility of AmigaOS 4 with the latest RadeonHD graphics cards.
