VDisk 3.8
After almost nine years the VDisk.device was updated. This version fixes an illegal memory accesses during initialization of big volumes with bitmap extension blocks. At least AmigaOS 2.04 is required.

AROS: Audio Evolution 4 for free
After it was announced that Audio Evolution 4 would be released as Freeware, first the version for AmigaOS 4 and now for AROS have been published. The latest AROS-distribution Icaros Desktop 1.4 already includes it.
The MorphOS-version is supposed to follow later. Davy Wentzler sells Audio Evolution 5 for Windows and Mac OS X as well as a version for Android. This also can load AE4-projects but you have to edit the paths.

Accelerator board: ACA 1231 still suffering from stability issues
Several users who purchased the Amiga 1200 accelerator board ACA 1231 had been reporting stability issues. Earlier this month, the manufacturer Individual Computers responded by supplying all existing customers with an additional cooler, which will also be mounted on all future cards.
Apparently, the additional cooler substantially improves the stability of the board, but there are still customers reporting crashes. The manufacturer and some affected users are currently trying to locate the source of the problem.
