An anonymous contributor has donated 12.000 US-Dollar. Te project has to be finished until 12th of December 2012. There are two different versions available: The first one for the user-interface NeoGUI (gngeo) and the second one for the new GngeoNG GUI (GngeoNG-GUI). This beta version fixes a bug with the light intensity of Epson-scanners. Additionally a new Epson-backend is available which at the author causes some problems using USB but it does work over SCSI.
