ACube: AmigaOS 4.1 for Sam460ex announced

Following the recent announcement about the Sam460ex, the latest addition to the SAM family, ACube Systems is very pleased to announce that the work to port AmigaOS 4.1 to the Sam460ex is in progress and it's carried out by our partner Hyperion Entertainment CVBA.
Screenshots are available at our website, the release date is still targeted for September.

Website: OS4 Programming Guide
With the OS4 Programming Guide a website was opened which is supposed to provide a guide for programming AmigaOS-4-software.
According to the maintainer of the website Hyperion supports this idea. Additionally several AmigaOS-4 developers and beta testers are going to write articles.

Software-News: GCC 4.5, Sirena Player 1.00
Crosscompiler: GCC 4.5 for Cygwin
Bernd Roesch has published a new version of GCC 4.5 which works under Cygwin and creates binaries for m68k-AmigaOS. C++ is not supported.
AmigaOS 4: Audio-Player Sirena Player 1.00
Sirena Player is an audio player written with Hollywood which plays MP3, WAV and MOD files.
