Video conversion: ffmpegGUI 2.2 (AmigaOS 4) / ffmpeg SVN-r20529 (MorphOS)
The video conversion program ffmpeg was compiled by Fabien 'Fab' Coeurjoly in the latest SVN-version r20529 for MorphOS. For AmigaOS 4 Kevin 'ktadd' Taddeucci has published his graphical user-interface ffmpegGUI (screenshot) in version 2.2.

Project announcement: AmiDARK Engine - BASIC for AmigaOS 4
The author calls his "AmiDARK Engine" as "Game Development Kit" which is inspired by DarkBASIC. On the homepage you can find some simple code examples which are supposed to demonstrates the connection to the DarkBASIC-Syntax.
If the AmiDARK Engine will become a complete development environment just like the earlier version of DarkBASIC can currently not be said. According to the author the project by far is not completed.

Amiga Inc. deletes term "AmigaOS" from its website
As Hyperion announced four weeks ago that a agreement was reached with Amiga Inc., it was not clear which rights on which AmigaOS-versions Hyperion has got with this agreement.
Meanwhile Amiga Inc. deleted all terms from his website which included "AmigaOS" - only the section "History" mentions the opearing system.

IBrowse developer addressing the web browser's future
On the IBrowse mailing list, Oliver Roberts from the IBrowse development team replies to inquiries about the browser's future: The initial plan was to develop a new custom HTML engine for IBrowse 3.0 - but given the dramatically shrinking size of the community, that doesn't look like a viable option these days according to Roberts.
