Interview with Rabah Shihab (Babylonian Twins)
The online-magazine Obligement has published an exclusive interview with Rabah Shihab today, the lead programmer of Babylonian Twins - an Amiga game which is supposed to have been the first commercial one developed in Iraq.
The english version of the interview can be found at the title link, a french translation will be published later.

Papyrus Office: Timeout-Requester forces new update
From the beginning of the month owners of the office package Papyrus have been welcomed with a message window that says that this beta version will expire.
According to Michael Garlich from Titan on pegasosforum.de there will be an additional update which will not include this timeout requester. But there will not be a MorphOS-native version of this update because the computer of the external developer as well as the Pegasos of the company do not work.

ACube: Scope of delivery of AmigaOS 4.1
Some purchasers of AmigaOS 4.1 reported of copied manuals and burned CDs while others got a complete set with box, printed manual and proper CD (photo). Now Massimiliano "m3x" Tretene from ACube Systems explained in a discussion on amigaworld.net:
"We never sent photocopied manuals nor copied CDs to resellers or end users.
It was just a measure a few resellers took to minimize delivery time to customers (there was a delay printing the CDs)".

SAM440-presentation at the Electronica 2008 (Munich)
Press release: Thanks to our partner DENX Computer Systems GmbH the Sam440ep and Sam440ep-flex-motherboards will be presented at the trade fair Electronica 2008 which will take place from 11. to 14. November in Munich.
The Sam440ep was added to the online catalog of Denx.

MorphOS: MPlayer with graphical user-interface
Fabien "Fab" Coeurjoly has published a new version of his MorphOS-port of the media player MPlayer which for the first time has now a MUI-based, graphical user-interface (screenshot).
