RELEC: Sam440 box "The Red One"
On his website the Swiss dealer RELEC offers a bespoke box for ACube's PPC-motherboard Sam440.
The product is called "The Red One" and apparently is only available together with a Sam440-platine.
The Red One is delivered in a Aluminium case so the owner can carry it safely and has a price of 260 Euro.

Event: Relec on the Colmar Multimedia Expo 2008
The Swiss dealer Relec will participate in the Colmar Multimedia Expo 2008 (24. - 26. October). The dealer will introduce the AmigaOS 4.1, the PowerPC-mainboards Sam440ep and Sam440ep-Flex, the Minimig, AmigaOS/68k as well as MorphOS 2.0 on the Pegasos and Efika. Additionally RMS Communications will present the ERP application based on MUIBase.

Event: Pianeta Amiga on 27./28. September in Empoli (Italy)
The next Pianeta Amiga will take place in Italian Empoli on 27. and 28. September 2008 in Palaesposizioni. The admission fee is 5 Euro.
ACube Systems which has announced new products, the Amiga Future, AmigaKit, Bitplane and Virtual Works will take part. AmigaOS 4.1, the PowerPC-board SAM440ep in the new version 1.5 as well as many further products will be presented.

AROS: UpdatAROS 1.1
UpdatAROS is a shell script that allows easy updating of AROS system files, copying the ones of a newer nightly build over a pre-existing system.
The new version 1.1 supports Grub 2 enabled AROS systems. Please don't use it on a Grub 1 system, or it will likely destroy your current installation.
