YAM 2.5: Sneak Preview with AmigaOS 4.0 Classic

AmigaOS 4.0 for Classic Amiga gone Gold
As reported last month by amiga-news AmigaOS 4.0 for PowerPC equipped Amiga 1200/3000/4000’s will be available for sale around 30 November depending on location. Hyperion Entertainment, developer and publisher of Amiga software including the upcoming PowerPC based Amiga operating system AmigaOS 4.0, announced that the product has gone gold.

AmigaOS 4: New plug-ins for Tunenet
Fredrik Wikstrom has published a bunch of new plug-ins for the audio-player
TuneNet. After installing the plug-ins TuneNet will be compatible with
ACM, SunAU, PSF, RealAudio and RIFF-WAVE.

AROS64: Beta release
At the title link, Michal Schulz released a beta version of his AROS port to the x86-64 architecture (Bounty 21).
Being an early version and quite untested yet, according to the author, beta testers should not expect too much from it for now, though.

AmigaSYS 3 Plus Live 07 for USB-volumes
The preconfigured operating system environment AmigaSYS can now be run
directly from an USB-stick. In addition to the ISO-file and a short
manual a video can be found on the AmigaSYS-website showing the
necessary steps for the installation.
