AROS64: Status update
In his blog, Michal Schulz delivers insight into the current development status of his AROS adaptation to the x86-64 architecture (Bounty 21). So reportedly, the operating system is already bootable from CD and offers partial MMU support. The kernel is partly protected.
Now it is necessary to eliminate all the errors which first become evident on a 64 bit system: first in Zune and Wanderer, afterwards in the remaining standard components of AROS. Furthermore, as many architecture dependencies as possible should be relocated to kernel.resource.
