WinUAE: AmiKit 1.2.7
For AmiKit, a complete distribution for WinUAE users, an update to version 1.2.7 is available. This can be obtained via the integrated live update function or installed manually.
Among the improvements in this version are the newest versions of Ibrowse and StarAmPlan, among other things.

AmigaOS 4: CPUTemp.docky
CPUTemp.docky displays the current CPU temperature in the AmigaOS 4 dock. The program was successfully tested with 603e, 750FX, 750GX and 7455 processors and apparently works with some 7451 models. Other CPU types (604, 750CXE etc.) were not tested.

E-Mail: SimpleMail 0.30
Version 0.30 of the MUI-based E-Mail client SimpleMail was released today. Since the last release, minor bugs in the HTML display as well as in creating indices were fixed. News that are shown in the preview window are now marked as read.
The new version of SimpleMail is available for AmigaOS 3/4 at present, the MorphOS version will be delivered later.
The SimpleMail team wishes everyone a contemplative Christmas and a happy new year.

vbcc: Compiler target for the SmartFirmware
Under the title link, Frank Wille has created a target for PowerPC OpenFirmware (specifically: the SmartFirmware of the Efika board) for the C compiler vbcc.
Through this, plain ANSI-C programs (OpenFirmware-calls and standard I/O) can be launched directly from the firmware, without needing to launch a "proper" operating system first.

Mediator: TV tuner control TvR 2.10
The program TvR by Robert Krajcarz (screenshot) is now available in version 2.10. With this software, TV tuner PCI cards used via a Mediator board can be controlled.
