Amiga Inc.: Cooperation with Envizions Computer Entertainment
Amiga Inc. is announcing a cooperation with "Envizions Computer Entertainment" (EVO). At EVO's next "Multimedia Entertainment System" users are directly guided to evo.shopamiga.com via the menu item "games" . The multimedia content, which will be offered through this shop, could include videos, music, images and ringtones in future, as Amiga Inc. stated.

Commdore emulator: VICE 1.20 (2006-10-11) for all Amiga systems
At the title link there is the latest version of the Commodore emulator VICE for AmigaOS 3/4, MorphOS and AROS (Intel/PPC) available.
VICE emulates virtually all 8 bit computers of Commodore.
The latest release fixes some minor misbehaviours, for example joysticks under AmigaOS 4 are now configureable correctly.

WHDLoad: New packages until 10-10-2006
With WHDLoad game and scene demos, which were designed for floppy use, are installable to the hard disk. Additionally
many incompatibilities with the newer Amiga models are fixed.

a1k.org: Change of server and domain move
Robert Wahnsiedler writes: With our incrasing number of users the technical issues with our last provider were increasing also with the result,
that we moved the site to a new server. The forum of
a1k.org is reachable at a1k.amiga-world.de currently. During the week hopefully
the old domain will be switched, too.
Also I'd like to mention tat my public email address apex[@]a1k.org is not reachable since about 2 months
(one of the old provider's issues). Those who send mail to taht address didn't got a failure reply, but the messages were never
passed to my account. I aplolgy for any inconvenience and hope the address will work again from next week on.
