Demoszene: Assembly '06 opened
Since 1992 the demo scene-exhibition Assembly is held in Helsinki every year. Today the four days event with participants from all over the world is opening its portals again.

WinAros: New version based on Microsoft Virtual PC
A new version of WinAros is available now under the title link.
With WinAros it is possible to try the operating system AROS in Windows and to test programs which were developed e. g. with AmiDevCpp. The latest version is based on the todays nightly build of AROS.

MorphOS: No possibility of registration during holidays

Cell CPU Card for for PC's with strong Power Supply
The US company Mercury wants to provide PC's more power with the help of a plugin board. Mainly for 3D-rendering, image processing and other power consuming applications advantages are expected - because of a Cell-BE-chip, which powers the PlayStation 3 in a similar application.

Pegasos II: Apple emulator PegXMac 1.4.4 available via Torrent network
After the release of version 2.0 (amiga-news.de reported), David Bentham has now made PegXMac 1.4.4 available for free for the Pegasos II via the Torrent network.
The live CD PegXMac allows the use of Mac OS (X) without already existing Linux installation.
