Video: Gameplay of recent update of Doom clone "Grind"
In mid-April, we reported on the progress made in the development of the Doom clone "Grind". Now the YouTube channel "Amiga Factory" has published a gameplay showing these improvements and further developments.

Reverse Engineering: Aira Force 0.6.3 for Windows, Linux and macOS
"Aira Force" is a tool for reverse engineering Amiga 680x0 software (amiga-news.de reported). It allows binaries to be disassembled and investigated (preview video). The new version now supports unlimited hunks.
In addition, the author has spent some time configuring archives remotely. This is the first release of archives built remotely with GitHub Actions - at least for Windows and Linux. As a result, he hopes to no longer have to dig out his old Linux laptop and Macbook.

Programming competition: Amiga Demo Effect Jam launched
'Prince', founder of the group 'Phaze101', has started a new programming competition after the 2022 Retro Trex Game Jam: the Amiga Demo Effect Jam, which runs until 31 July 2024. The task is to create an effect for an Amiga demo. In the end, all these effects will be put together to create a complete Amiga demo (OCS/ECS).
This jam is aimed at beginner programmers who would like to take part in a demo party. The exact technical requirements are listed under the title link.

AROS: Emulator for 32-bit software under 64-bit AROS in development
To facilitate the transition from 32-bit to 64-bit architecture for AROS, Krzysztof 'deadwood' Śmiechowicz has now published the prototype of an emulator, which should enable the continued use of existing 32-bit software until it might get recompiled natively (video).

AmigaOS 4: Using a Logitech K400 Plus Keyboard with the A1222 Plus
Kevin 'ktadd' Taddeucci has purchased an A1222 Plus in addition to his existing AmigaOS 4 hardware (MicroA1, AmigaOne X1000) and reports on his experiences in a blog (amiga-news.de reported). In the current entry he describes the challenge and possible solutions when using a PC keyboard with a touchpad using the example of a Logitech K400 Plus.
