MorphOS: Ambient now on Sourceforge
With the goal of an orderly continued development of Ambient, a corresponding project has been initiated on Sourceforge. Available are a bugtracker, a forum, and two mailing lists (one for developers, the other for general conversation about Ambient and its future). At a later date compiled binaries for end users should be available.

Pictures from the Maarssener Commodore Show
Under the title link you'll discover photos and a short video of the most recent convention from the Commodore Gebruikersgroep (C= user-group). It took place on 19th February at Maarssen in the Netherlands.
The C-One, the MMC64 Interface and Catweasel cards were presented by Jens Schönfeld and Oliver Achten (Individual Computers) as well as an expanded C64DTV by Richard Lagendijk.
The next meeting of CGG takes place on 16th April, with the motto: "20 Years of Amiga." Besides the club member presentations, Individual Computers and Computer City will be there.

CD Tools: Update for CDonFire
"CDonFire" is a burning program with which one may burn any 3CaDo generated CD image to CD-R or CD-RW, and now video, audio, and ISO CDs may also be copied.
The program offers the following possibilities:
- Grab MPEG Movies from (S)VCD
- Write a VCD image from CD-R/W
- Write a VCD image to CD-R/W
- Copy VideoCDs to CD-R/W
- Write CDDA images from CD-R/W
- Copy audioCD to CD-R/W
- Write an ISO image from CD-R/W
- Write an ISO Image to CD-R/W
- Copy ISO CDs to CD-R/W
- Erase CD-RW (fast, full etc.)
- Repair CD-R/Ws
Tip: If a CD doesn't copy right, try reducing the burning speed!

New Liquid Skies Records Homepage Online
A completely new PHP homepage for the Amiga-based Scene-Music Label "Liquid Skies Records" is now online at "liquidskies.de." The page offers free tracks for download from group members. New features are a ratings system for the tracks as well as the possibility to comment on the update.

AmigaOS4: LWToy 0.67 Ported
Version 0.67 of LWToy, a viewer of LightWave objects, is now also available for AmigaOS4 (screenshots).
LWToy can display LightWave objects in different 3D shadings, among them environment mapping, light shading, and phong shading.
