Until now, Tankkk could only be played with up to six players on one computer. Now, after almost three decades, developer K-P Koljonen has re-released the game, which has been renamed TankX. In the new version 1.1, computer-controlled tanks have been added so that TankX can now also be played solo against the Amiga. The player can use processor-controlled tanks in battle, include a CPU teammate, play a human vs CPU team death match or have all tanks controlled by the CPU. The English edition has now also been available as of 28 April. In the current update version, the event section has been expanded and initial bugs have been fixed.
