Populous creator knighted by Queen
According to the Italian website Punto Informatico, citing the BBC, Peter Molyneux, creator of the Amiga hits Populous (1989) and Powermonger (1990), among others, has become the first game developer ever to be knighted by Queen Elizabeth II as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.

BenderIRC 1.5b13
The latest version of the IRC client BenderIRC includes the following changes:
- OpenURL - Plugin ... you requested it now use it :)
- Version string fixed
- ARexx-Plugin has been updated to a full working ARexx port
- Every BenderIRC command like /DCCSEND user file has been adapted in ARexx
The OpenURL plugin "fishes" links from the IRC datastream and passes it to a table,
in which every link is openable by click with your preferred browser.

"Hatari" is an Atari ST emulator using the SDL library. Hatari supports all TOS versionen, offers limited GEM support

Guido Mersmann has released version 2.0 of Meridian, a commodity, that allows, like a PDA with writing recognition, the use of virtual
hotkeys for e.g. calling programs. Because start point and direction of a mouse movement are taken into account there are close
to infinite combinations which are freely useable.
