File sharing: ctorrent for AmigaOS and MorphOS (Update)
ctorrent is a console based client for the BitTorrent file sharing network.
The Amiga version has been compiled on a 68040/40. On that system, file hash checking (neccessary when resuming a download) on a 44 MB file takes about 1.5 minutes. During normal operation the CPU usage is below 50 % though.
ctorrent does not allow limiting the uploads.
Direct download: ctorrent-1.3.2.lha (186 KB)
Update: (12:29, 20.06.04, snx)
Meanwhile, #amigazeux has also prepared a MorphOS version (71 KB). Like the AmigaOS version, this port just offers a common bandwith limitation for up- and downloads.
