RIAA Withdraws Warning to amiga-scene.org
The RIAA had to withdraw their warnings to Internet sites. In numerous instances the US-American music industry corporate group RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) had sent warnings against administrators of Web and FTP servers who offered MP3 data on their systems. Along with that these administrators were notified through targetless RIAA scans of their servers who of their users made free music available. The Demo Scene server amigascene.org was hit by this step, and was excused in a form letter that said they had offered "about 0 Music data for download." After this action became known, the RIAA now has withdrawn the warnings to falsely hit Internet sites. (nba) (Translation: dm)
