H&P: StormC programmer needed
For the porting of the loganalyzers Sawmill we are looking for an
Amiga programmer, who is used to StormC and/or GCC. It
concerns thereby not the adjustment of sources, but rather the
adjustment of libraries, so that the source can be compiled on the Amiga. The payment is to be made in form of a participation in
turnover at the sales of the Amiga version. If you are interested please contact Markus
Nerding.

Hyperion: New AmigaOne Firmware
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Leuven, Belgium - March 7, 2003.
Hyperion is pleased to announce that it has completed an extensive rework of the AmigaOne firmware adding substantial functionality and flexibility for end-users, developers and technicians.
The new firmware will be incorporated in the A1-XE boards which will be shipping shortly.
Newly implemented functionality includes:
- Migration from PPCBoot 1.16 to U-Boot (PPCBoot 2.0)
- Support for PPC 750 FX, MPC 7440/41, MPC 7450/1 CPU's
- Comprehensive GUI for Articia S register configuration
- Comprehensive GUI for general firmware configuration
- Support of additional types of memory modules
- Integration of diagnostic code
- Support for POST card displays allowing for rapid detection of specific hardware faults
- New Articia S start-up code allowing for usage of two banks of unregistered SDRAM
- Booting from Symbios/LSI Logic 53c8xx based SCSI controllers

Terra Soft: Teron-PPC-Board not longer available in the Online-Store
Terra Soft ATX PowerPC Systems
Terra Soft Current and Pending Customers,
"Many of you have enthusiastically and patiently awaited the delivery of MAI Logic's Teron motherboards on which Terra Soft's Boxer ATX systems will be built. We have removed the Teron-based systems from our online Store until further notice in order to reduce further confusion and false expectations. Background could be a diversity of opinion between Terra Soft and Mai
Logic. According to rumors, which Mike Bouma in the Amiga World forum
drew "from reliable sources", Terra Soft demands 20 US dollar per
produced and sold Main board, including the AmigaOne boards, since
these boards can implement Yellow Dog Linux. These rumors were so far
not confirmed officially.
