heise: Metabox shut down
The company of Metabox which was founded by former members of Amiga Technology has finally shut down
as heise reported. Metabox was one of a various amount of firms which sold SetTop-boxes. Metabox get
talked about because of some announcements of sensational delivery contracts which probably only
had the use of temporal increase or its rate.

A.D.A.: Update with 5 new productions
Amiga Demoscene Archive (A.D.A.) was updated today with 5 high quality
productions: the stunning slideshows "The puppets/Iris" and "Photocell
1x1/Anadune and Madwizards", two demos "Megademo4/Artwork" and
"Monoxide/Vanish" and one 64kb intro "Shema/Nah Kolor".
Enjoy the wonderful world of Amiga demos!

All advance orders have been already sent. fxPAINT 2.0 is available on CD-ROM and as download version
and runs on 68K, PowerUP, WarpUP, MorphOS and Amithlon.

GOLEM: PPC-mainboard Pegasos available - rival for AmigaOne
Under the title link you can find a detailed description of the new PowerPC mainboards Pegasos/AmigaOne.
There is also a little comparision of the features of the two mainboards. It follows a short extract
from the text:
"While Amiga Inc. and its AmigaOne partners concentrate on the forthcoming commercial
operating system AmigaOS 4.0 which is supposed to inspire the Amiga platform with new life Thendic-France
and bplan deliver its board together with MorphOS and DebianPPC-Linux."
