 OnyxSoft: Pictures of AONE, Cathedral Version 1.31, and DagensTV Version 1.0

OnyxSoft has placed online a few pictures from AONE 2002, which took place in Göteborg. On top of that, two programs were brought up to date on the 15th of October, 2002:

  • The music creation program Cathedral has reached version 1.31.
  • DagensTV is now at version 1.0, ready for download. The program works with information of TV programs, which are distributed by email from http://www.dagenstv.com/.
Both programs are from Daniel Westerberg.

The Legacy


 History: The Legacy Update - 400 New Screenshots

The games museum for C64, Amiga, Atari and other computers is taking care of their readers by offering new screenshots, cover scans, and articles about the game developers. On the 15th of October, 2002 400 new screenshots were saved to the databank.

The English language magazine Total Amiga will appear on the 28th of October, 2002, and it is going to have the following content:

 AmigaOne Will Be Demonstrated on the 20th of October, 2002 in Australia

The Australian Amiga user group SAUG in cooperation with Anything Amiga will display the AmigaOne this Sunday the 20th of October, 2002 at 2 pm. In Epping.

Here's an excerpt of the original announcement:
  • DATE: Sunday October 20th
  • TIME: 2pm
  • LOCATION: Epping Community Centre, (School of Arts building), 9 Oxford Street, Epping NSW.
If you're Sydney-based or close enough to get there then see the following. This coming Sunday the Sydney Amiga User Group in conjunction with user group member Ross Vumbaca and AnythingAmiga will debut the new AmigaOne.

 Soms3D Seeks New Partners

Soms has been on ice for a long time because there was a lot of programming to do. This made us really think about things. We decided not to make a 2D adventure, but rather a realtime 3D online role playing game.

To do this we already have a 3D programmer and our first internal beta version. The capabilities of Soms3D will be made public at a later date (assuming our new webpage is online). The adventurers will reach, more or less, a common solution. And naturally all that one may do online must also be doable in an online game.

To reach our goals we still need a bit of help. We are looking for:

  • A musician who can deliver his music in MOD or MIDI form.
  • A programmer who knows his way around Online-Programming.
  • Because Soms3D is based on PPC it would be better when partners have a PPC, especially when programming.
  • Applications or Inquiries go to Sylvio K..
