Fr3dY's Software Updates: RipMIME V2.15 - Normalize V0.7.2
RipMIME is a little tool that extract the MIME files attached to a file (an email file for example).

Normalize is a tool that allows you to modify the volume of sound files (wav, mp3...). It's useful for CD compilations, with songs from different sources, making it sound at same level. (ps)

Game: WarpSDL Library v0.3 for WarpSCUMM
Adam Waldenberg released version 0.3 of WarpSDL.library for AmigaOS 68k/PPC (WOS).

This version fixes some issues in WarpSCUMM. Chances in detail:

  • Reworked some bits and split up the code into more functions.
  • Fixed two OS related issues reported by PatchWorks.
  • Fixed a tiny memory leak.
  • Subtask signaling tweaked and modified to work better.
  • Priorities are now set correctly for WarpOS mirror-subtasks also.
WarpSCUMM is an Amiga port of ScummVM. With ScumVM you can play LucasArts-adventures like Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island. The port uses the new WarpSDL.library with CyberGFX and AHI support.

Additional information about ScummVM is available here.

Genealogy: Initial demonstrative Dynastie version released
Some time ago I've announced a new genealogy program for the Amiga. But since Bonds has priority this new program progresses only very slowly. Anyhow, I decided to translate the existing source code and to give all interested people a first impression of the program. At this time it reads family trees of GEDCOM format and displays the personal data. (ps) (Translation: mj)
