WHDLoad


 Installer: WHDLoad - New packets (until 08.02.2002)
With WHDLoad you can install games on your harddrive which were formerly meant only for use with disks. The following packets have been added or updated:
  • 08.02.02 improved: Geisha (Cocktel Vision) supports German version too, misc other changes
  • 08.02.02 new: Carcharodon - White Sharks (Demonware) done by Galahad
  • 06.02.02 improved: Rotor (Arcane) blitter waits added, snoop mode fix
  • 06.02.02 new: The Final Battle (Mirrorsoft) done by Bored Seal
  • 06.02.02 improved: Elvira - The Arcade Game (Flair Software) music/sound fixed, blitter waits added and more
  • 06.02.02 improved: Cliffhanger (Psygnosis/Spidersoft) Fast-Mem support
  • 06.02.02 improved: Alien Breed Story (Team 17) Fast-Mem support, delay added

 Game: Tales of Tamar - New Amiga version 0.41 R1
Tales of Tamar is an internet turn-based strategy game for Amiga, Atari, Java, Linux and PC by Eternity Entertainment Software. For registered beta testers there's a new Amiga version 0.41 R1 available for download.

The latest version finally enables players to annex enemy towns, thus exterminating enemy players. It also allows them to maintain several towns in a country.

The only things missing until the release the Amiga base set are towns for level two, three and four, cavalry, artillery, settlers and a few other bits. The light at the end of the tunnel is near :-) (ps)

 OnyxSoft: MultiRen V1.48 and TheMPegEncGUI V2.10
MultiRen, available in version 1.48, is a very powerful multi-file renaming tool with dozen of features. TheMPegEncGUI, available in version 2.10, is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for MPEG Audio-encoders. Both tools are programmed by Daniel Westerburg.

 Amigart.com: Redesign finished
The redesign of the englishspoken newsservice Amigart is finished. Amigart now use PHP-Nuke and has a nice design. (ps)
